Huntsman Advanced Materials will be presenting its credentials as a global leader in epoxy and other thermoset specialities for composites, rapid tooling solutions and industrial adhesives at this year’s JEC, with a comprehensive product and applications display.

Product highlights are the Araldite adhesives and Araldite and Aradur® structural composites systems with particular reference to the recreational market, automotive and fibre sizing and finishing as well as the RenShape Solutions modelling and prototyping products with particular reference to their relevance for the marine industry and wind blade tooling.

Adhesives
Huntsman Advanced Materials is a leading global supplier of structural adhesives for joining composite materials. RenShape Solutions
RenShape Solutions has pioneered the development of Seamless Modelling Pastes,which are marketed under the RenPaste™ brand. The range includes model-making materials for the automotive, marine and wind industries. RenPaste is compatible with the largest milling machines for highly accurate CNC application, enabling the fast production of boat and blade plugs. The company will also present new RenGel™, RenLam™ and RenInfusion™ laminating and infusion systems for making the very large moulds required for aerospace and wind blade tooling. The products are formulated to have long open time, low temperature precuring and high heat resistance after post-cure. RenPIM™ low pressure polyurethane injection systems will also to be presented to the marine industry as a low cost way of making cabin and deck fittings.
