EAME

Huntsman Polyurethanes is active throughout Europe. Our extensive research center and technology facilities are based near Brussels in Everberg, Belgium. The company has facilities, technical centers, and commercial centers across the region, from Dammam, Saudi Arabia; to Gothenburg, Sweden; to Edenvale, South Africa.

Performance Products is excited to work with a local manufacturer in the Russian market, selling 50 percent of the anionic and amphoteric surfactants manufactured in a newly commissioned plant in St. Petersburg. This partnership allows Huntsman to provide top quality products and a high level of service wherever the customer is based.

Llanelli, Wales

As Huntsman employees in Llanelli, we equate work with serenity because there’s no place like here. In the midst of rural Wales, surrounded by nature, our facility focuses on chemical, mechanical, and electrical engineering as well as laboratory and administrative roles. Right on top the estuary of the Loughor river, we’re just a fifteen minute drive away from some of the British Isles’ most beautiful beaches (Gower Peninsula) in case you fancy a lunch by the sea. We’re an hour from Cardiff and four hours from London, so when we do miss the bustle of the city, it’s not too far away. It’s not everyone who has the privilege of working amidst beauty, and here at Huntsman, we certainly appreciate that.

Prague, Czech Republic

Set in the heart of this beautiful old city, Huntsman’s office in Prague is here primarily for Polyurethanes sales, as well as commercial assistance and HR roles. Our HR department handles all the personnel of Eastern Europe. Though we’re a small office in terms of numbers, we take care of a lot of important Huntsman matters. Most of our associates use public transport to get to work. There’s a Metro station and tram stop that is just a three-minute walk from our office. Since we’re in the most historic part of this lovely city, we’re close to many great restaurants and shopping centers. Working in Prague is a pleasure. This city is so beautiful; it’s like living in a post card!

Bergkamen, Germany

Conveniently situated between the industrial Ruhrgebiet to the South, and Münsterland with its many cultural offerings, Huntsman’s facility in Bergkamen is perfect for a balanced life. Our facility is primarily a manufacturing site for specialty components that are of critical importance in the automotive and other industries. The production site is embedded in a chemical park so employees benefit from the canteen, a small cafeteria, and access to company-facilitated sports activities. Our spectrum of activities means that we have personnel in many different roles: production, engineering, technicians, and warehouse workers. We’re known for our excellent attitude and willingness to cooperate with each other. We pride ourselves in high safety and housekeeping standards and our site has been recognized for being accident-free for many years. For recreation, we’re close to both Dortmund and Münster, giving us access to great city life and world-famous sports teams. Since we’re part of a larger park, we have access to excellent travel infrastructure including airports, motorways, and railway stations. Many associates live close by and bicycle to work. We’re a community, and site organizers often hold parties and other company events. Work and life are closely tied together here in Bergkamen, and we like it that way.

Renaud Bein, Regional L&D Manager Basel, Switzerland
"As a global multinational, Huntsman understands the added value diversity brings to its workforce. Associates work with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and languages at all levels of the organization and have ample opportunities to grow their own multicultural sensitivity. I always felt I had the opportunity to express myself and be heard. My job requires permanent interactions with all kinds of people from very different backgrounds. Fostering diversity is critical in our own competency framework. It's applied during recruitment, development, career progression, and daily tasks."
