We’ve reorganized our EHS team to foster greater partnership with our divisions, to provide clarity of reporting and accountability and to ensure compliance. Our strategic review of EHS identified seven areas for additional focus, alongside other essential EHS activities. We’ve developed Centers of Excellence to support areas of sustainability, product stewardship and emerging issues management.

We routinely measure and track EHS performance of sites across the globe. It enables the tracking of progress and is a key component of continuous improvement.

EHS Protection Policy

Huntsman and its worldwide subsidiaries are committed to achieving excellence in environmental, health and safety (EHS). It is the responsibility of both management and associates to operate safe, clean, efficient and compliant facilities in a sustainable, environmentally and socially responsible manner.

EHS Vision and Policy Objectives

  • Provide all associates with a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Proactively communicate environmental, health and safety information regarding our operations and products to our associates, contractors and the public.
  • Provide our distributors, contractors and customers with the information necessary to handle and manage our products safely.
  • Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws, regulations and company standards. Strive for continuous improvement through the full implementation of the Huntsman EHS standards.
  • Ensure that all managers, associates and contractors are aware of this policy and have been trained in their specific responsibilities for achieving EHS excellence.
  • Maintain open communication with the public regarding our implementation of this policy.
