Recommendations for Future Biodiversity Management

• Flora and fauna surveys should be carried out on the unused parts of the production site. There are large sections of woodland and wetland on, and adjacent to the site, for which no biodiversity data were found.
• The wildlife of the re-created wetlands should be studied in more detail. There is considerable potential in this area to attract a considerable diversity of insects, birds and mammals.

Until more data are available it is difficult to make specific recommendations for wildlife conservation on the site. Whilst collecting more information on the sites flora and fauna consideration could be given to possibly supporting biodiversity and conservation projects in the local vicinity.
