Birds of the Production Site
 A
full survey of the birds of the site has not been carried out. Notes
of the birds seen during a brief walk around the site in May 2000 listed
15 species as shown in Table
33. However, the wood and scrub areas near the playing fields
and the freshwater tanks were inadequately covered and it is certain
that many more species will be found by more detailed future surveys.
Many of the woodland and scrub birds found in the Umbogavango Reserve
could also occur on the Tioxide site (see Table
36).
