Chemical wastes
For polyurethane chemicals, small quantities of waste result from machine calibration; these can be combined to make "waste" foam. Waste also arises when small quantities of residual chemicals are left in drums.

In such cases drums should be decontaminated and reconditioned by authorized operators for re-use.

Any other residual chemical wastes must be disposed of in accordance with local, state or national legislation.

They should never be put down drains, sewers or water courses. Incinerators suitable for the disposal of noxious chemical waste should be used under approved, controlled conditions.
