Methylene diphenyl diisocyanate (MDI)-based polyurethane insulation offers residential builders and home renovators solutions that combine one of the highest thermal resistance (R-values) at a given thickness and lowest thermal conductivity with superior mechanical properties.

In residential applications, polyurethane insulation helps to create an envelope around the home to reduce air infiltration, thereby making the home more energy efficient.
