Construction
A highly effective insulant, rigid polyurethane foam enhances the structural stability of a building, has high water-vapour resistance and is lightweight. Because of its low thermal conductivity, rigid polyurethane contributes significantly to energy conservation which helps combat climate change.

These qualities make polyurethane an excellent insulant in roofs, wall cavities and under floors in residential housing. Polyurethane is also used in metal sandwich panel insulation for industrial and commercial buildings such as warehouses and coldstores.

As well as rigid foam, polyurethane insulation can also be applied in the appropriately coated spray form to insulate floors, walls and ceilings.
