Huntsman Textile Effects Announces Price Increases for Selected Textile Dyes and Chemicals in the Americas Region

• Selected price increases in North, Central and South America
• Ongoing commitment to provide customers with consistent levels of innovation, quality and services

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Huntsman Textile Effects (NYSE: HUN) today announced that, effective October 1 or as contracts allow, it is selectively increasing the prices of textile dyes and chemicals in North, Central and South America.

Huntsman stated that it is aggressively attempting to control/reduce costs in all areas and the price increase is to offset raw material, energy and transportation costs, as well as to ensure the Textile Business’ viability and ability to continue to provide innovative products and technical service.
