Huntsman to Increase MDI and MDI-based Systems Prices in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Countries and Indian Sub-Continent (ISC) Markets.

Everberg, Belgium – The Polyurethanes division of Huntsman Corporation (HUN:NYSE) announced today a US$150/tonne price increase for all its MDI products and MDI-based systems in the GCC countries and ISC markets from July 1, 2012.

Nick Webster, Vice President, Europe for Polyurethanes, said: "This price increase builds on the increase announced last March and is necessary to fully address raw material price escalation as well as to achieve long-term reinvestment economics” .
