Huntsman Performance Products to Present and Exhibit at the 2015 Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Annual Conference

The Woodlands, Texas – Huntsman Corporation’s (NYSE: HUN) Performance Products division will present and exhibit at the 2015 Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Annual Conference & Expo from Feb. 15 to 18 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

Huntsman Performance Products’ technical session, POLYSIL® Coagulants to Improve SX Conditions – A Practical Way to Reduce Colloidal Silica and Crud Formation, will be presented by Andrew Smethurst, Metallurgist. The session will take place during the Mineral & Metallurgical Processing: Separation SX/IX/EW track, which runs from 2 to 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

“Andrew’s presentation will demonstrate how Huntsman’s POLYSIL® polyether coagulants provide an effective means of controlling colloidal silica and crud forming materials in hydrometallurgical processes in the mineral processing industry,“ said Jeff Aston, Global Mining Manager, Huntsman.

At booth No. 1125, Huntsman Performance Products will showcase its latest flotation reagents, mining technology developments and industrial applications. Additionally, Huntsman Performance Products will promote its continued investments in international laboratories to meet the increasing mining industry and market demands.

The conference is jointly hosted with the Colorado Mining Association’s 117th National Western Mining Conference and Exhibition.
