Huntsman to Increase Amine and Carbonate Prices in Europe

Everberg, Belgium  – Huntsman Corporation (NYSE:HUN) announced today that its Performance Products division will increase prices in Europe for its amine and carbonate products, as listed below. The increases will be effective September 20, 2010, or as applicable contracts allow:

JEFFAMINE® D series amines:  75 - 100 Euros per MT

Ethyleneamines:   75 - 150 Euros per MT

JEFFSOL®  Carbonates:  75 - 100 Euros per MT

Morpholine & DGA®  100 - 200 Euros per MT

John Q. Smyth, Vice President, EMEA, for the Huntsman Performance Products division said: "These price increases are necessary to recover margins and reach reinvestment economics that enable us to continue with further supply side investments that build on our recent and ongoing capacity expansions in Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Wales.
