Huntsman to Increase Linear Alkylbenzene Prices

The Woodlands, TX – Huntsman Performance Products, a business division of Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN), announced today that it will increase by $0.04 per pound the off list prices of linear alkylbenzene (LAB) and co-products on July 1, 2006 or as contracts allow.

Huntsman said the price increases reflect the continued high costs of petroleum-derived LAB feedstocks, and are necessary to bring LAB margins to acceptable and sustainable levels.
