Huntsman Polyurethanes to Present Technologies at 2017 PMA Annual Meeting in British Columbia

The Woodlands, Texas – Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) announced that its Huntsman Polyurethanes division will be a gold sponsor at the 2017 Polyurethane Manufacturers Association (PMA) Annual Meeting, May 7-9, at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, Canada.

The PMA is a trade association that promotes the growth, latest technologies and best practices of the cast polyurethanes industry.

“We are excited to be a part of this year’s PMA Annual Meeting and look forward to sharing our technologies and experience with the rest of the industry,” said Bernie Dipietrantonio, Business Manager, Americas, Huntsman Tecnoelastomeri. “Huntsman will showcase multiple custom-based solutions, and representatives will be on hand to answer questions and brainstorm customer ideas and applications.”

Huntsman Tecnoelastomeri will highlight their innovative solutions for the hot cast elastomers market at table 18 on Tuesday, May 9, during the Supplier Showcase.

On display will be information about Huntsman’s DALTOCAST™ MDI-based hot cast polyurethane elastomer systems (previously designated as TECHNOTHANE™ MDI systems) and CASTECH™ hot cast elastomer processing equipment for the hot cast elastomer market.

DALTOCAST™ systems are an advanced portfolio of polyurethane systems that include a full range of polyols and chain extenders based on MDI. The three-component CASTECH™ machine accurately meters and mixes hot cast elastomeric systems and can work with various types of polyurethane systems, including microcellular elastomer foams.

“The Polyurethane Manufacturers Association is grateful to Huntsman for their gold sponsorship of our 2017 Annual Meeting, and their ongoing support over the last several years,” said Jane Svinicki, CAE, Executive Director, Polyurethanes Manufacturing Association. “We depend on the support of our sponsor members to continue our goals of expanding the technical knowledge of, and market for, polyurethane products.”
