Paper Cites the Benefits of Using SPF in Walls, Floors, Ceilings and Roofs

The Woodlands, Texas – Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN) announced today its publication of a white paper titled, “The Benefits of Spray Polyurethane Foam in Commercial Applications.”

The white paper addresses spray polyurethanes foam’s (SPF) role as a superior insulation material for commercial construction applications, while helping architects and builders comply with strict building and energy codes.

“When designing and building a commercial structure, architects must consider how building materials and assemblies satisfy energy and building codes,” said Trent Shidaker, Business Manager, Huntsman Polyurethanes. “SPF insulation can help meet these code challenges and serve as an all-in-one insulation solution for heat, air, and moisture in many commercial applications.”

The white paper cites several examples of how SPF is currently being used in the commercial construction market. Topics covered include differences between open and closed cell SPF; its uses for both interior and exterior applications and benefits from installing SPF insulation in office, educational, industrial and health care facilities.

To receive a copy of the white paper or learn more about how SPF is becoming the primary insulation choice for architects designing commercial buildings, please email sprayfoam@huntsman.com or call 281-719-4602.
