Huntsman to increase MDI price in APAC

Shanghai, PR China - Huntsman Corporation (NYSE:HUN) announced today that its Polyurethanes division will increase prices in the Asia Pacific region for its MDI grades by a minimum of $100 per tonne, effective July 1 2008, or as applicable contracts allow.

Vincent Wang, Vice President APAC for the Polyurethanes division said “this price increase is required because of the continued rise in costs of our key raw materials against a background of sustained high growth rates for MDI across APAC.
