Huntsman to increase polyol and polyol blend prices in USA

The Woodlands, TX – Huntsman Polyurethanes, an international business unit of Huntsman Corporation (NYSE: HUN), announced today that it will increase prices in all market segments for polyols and polyol blends by $0.06/lb, on October 1, 2005 or as contracts allow.

Huntsman said the price increase reflects high raw material costs, particularly with propylene oxide, ethylene oxide, and many of the initiators.
