Huntsman Advanced Materials Certifications
Huntsman Advanced Materials has implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) to assist in meeting our Quality Improvement Policy, and thus achieving our strategy to be a leading provider of material solutions that creates value and growth for all stakeholders through effective and efficient management of its business processes in conformance with the International Standard ISO 9001.
Parts of the business also comply with applicable sector-specific standards, such as automotive standard IATF 16949, aerospace standard AS/EN 9100, ISO 14001 (environmental), and/or the standard ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety). In addition, Huntsman Advanced Materials is committed to meeting the requirements of Huntsman's global EHS Standards.
Huntsman Advanced Materials Quality Certificates
Our certified systems started in 1987 at our site in Duxford (UK) with a certification according to BS 5750 (an ISO 9001 predecessor). As the market requirements for Huntsman Advanced Materials have evolved, so have we as a division.
ISO 9001 Certification
The current ISO 9001:2015 certification is globally valid for the whole division, Huntsman Advanced Materials, and it encompasses all manufacturing sites.
Automotive IATF 16949:2016 Certification
Huntsman Advanced Materials operates four sites—Taboão da Serra (BR), Panyu (CN), Bad Säckingen (DE), and Monthey (CH)—all of which hold IATF 16949 certification. In addition, there are remote support locations in Basel (CH), Shanghai (CN), Kraków (PL), and Heredia (CR). These sites are certified according to automotive industry requirements. However, certification applies only to specific product lines and products. Please check with your customer service center to confirm whether the products you purchased fall within the scope of this certification.
Aerospace standard AS/EN 9100 Certification
Huntsman Advanced Materials holds site specific certifications according to the aerospace standard AS 9100 and EN 9100 at our locations Los Angeles (US) and Duxford (UK).

ISO 14001 and Responsible Care
Responsible Care® is the chemical industry’s global voluntary initiative under which companies, through their national associations, work together to continuously improve their health, safety and environmental performance, and to communicate with stakeholders about their products and processes.
Environmental ISO 14001 Certification
Using Responsible Care® as the base, several of our facilities have been certified to ISO 14001. Sites covered by this certificate are Bad Säckingen (DE), Bergkamen (DE), Duxford (UK), Monthey (CH), Pamplona (ES), Panyu (CI), Rock Hill (US), Ashtabula (US), and Taboão da Serra (BR).
Occupational Health and Safety ISO 45001 Certification
Using Responsible Care® as the base, Huntsman Advanced Materials holds site specific certifications according to the OH&S standard ISO 45001 at our locations Monthey (CH) and Bad Säckingen (DE).
