Technology
Pot life at RT
Fixture time at RT
Gap-filling up to
Maximum continuous operating temperature*
Tensile strength
Tensile modulus
Elongation at break
* For the maximum continuous operating temperature, we consider the maximum temperature for which the residual lap shear strength is 1/3 of the lap shear strength at room temperature or the temperature for which the residual lap shear strength is 5 MPa.

The Challenge
Bonding critical components to a GRP tube in an MRI scanner.
The Solution
To ensure precise and reliable positioning, components are bonded to the GRP tube using the ARALDITE® 2014-2 adhesive.
This is followed by the injection of an encapsulation resin system (also supplied by us) which can cure at high temperatures.
The intrinsic temperature resistance of the adhesive allows it to resist the curing temperature of the injected resin system. The cartridge format of ARALDITE® 2014-2 adhesive makes it easy to use in confined spaces, and the low shrinkage rate allows for tight tolerances.
The Challenge
Bonding of filter media to an end cap.
The Solution
Bonding both ends of the filter becomes easier with the 100% non-sag ARALDITE® 2014-2 adhesive.
Curing at room temperature, a reliable
and long-lasting bond is created with resistance to hydraulic oils and temperatures up to 140°C.
