Providing a reliable solution for injection of an adhesive in the gaps of wind blades after their infusion and assembly.
The Solution
For successful injection in the gaps left after infusion and shell bonding of the blades, the adhesive showed shear thinning properties and low shrinkage.
ARALDITE® 2031-1 adhesive combined both properties and performed with high toughness and curing at room temperature, ensuring continuity of the blade.
